The Gloucester on Yonge - More Details

The Gloucester on Yonge is a new condo in downtown Toronto that is set to be completed in 2022.

The project was launched in 2017 and building work began in the same year, but it went into receivership earlier this year and its future was unclear. Those issues are now resolved as Concord Adex took ownership of the project and we can look forward to the completion of The Gloucester on Yonge soon.

The building is 50 storeys tall, with a large tower sitting on top of a four-storey podium level. Inside, there are 528 residential units which range from studio to three-bedroom layouts and have between 360 and 1,320 square feet of floor space. All units come with a  range of impressive features and finishes, including: granite or quartz kitchen countertops, stainless steel appliances, undermount stainless steel kitchen sink, chrome finish bathroom hardware, durable laminate flooring plus porcelain tiles in bathrooms, solid core entrance door with security viewer, smooth ceilings in living areas, balconies or terraces according to plans, pre-wired for cable and telephone, security panel with suite connected to concierge, and much more.

In terms of amenities, The Gloucester on Yonge has plenty to offer residents. The majority of amenities in the building are located on the third, fifth and sixth levels, with both indoor and outdoor options on offer to residents. The Gloucester on Yonge is also set to be the first condo building in Canada with bacteria and virus mitigation technology. That technology is known as Concord BioSpace – a multi-layered system to deliver cleaner and safer indoor spaces. It does this by allowing access to major entry points and elevators to be controlled via your mobile phone. Meanwhile, improved airflow and filtration also help add to the package.
